counselling Internships and Practicum Placements
We offer two types of placements:
- Practicum placements for graduate students completing supervised hours for their Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Internships for post-graduate students accumulating additional supervised hours toward registration.
We are selective and typically accept mature students with life experience who align with our commitment to ethical, high-quality practice. Students work directly with clients and receive supervision. Depending on timing, you may need to arrange and cover the cost of approved external supervision if capacity is limited.

Counselling Career Opportunities
Hollyburn Support Services is ideal for Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC), Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC), and Registered Social Workers (RSW) who want to engage in private practice without managing the business side. We provide steady referrals and support so you can focus on helping your clients.
