ICBC COUNSELLING SERVICES
Supporting Your Recovery After a Motor Vehicle Accident
If you’ve been in a car accident and are experiencing physical, emotional, or psychological impacts, you may be eligible for counselling services through your ICBC accident claim. Hollyburn Support Services is proud to be part of the ICBC Recovery Network, offering trauma-informed counselling to support your healing and recovery.
What is ICBC Counselling?
The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) provides access to counselling sessions for individuals who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident (MVA), regardless of fault. If you have an open ICBC claim number, you may be pre-approved for counselling sessions to address:
- Post-traumatic stress
- Anxiety or depression following the accident
- Chronic pain and pain management
- Grief or loss
- Sleep disturbances or nightmares
- Difficulty returning to daily routines or driving
- Relationship strain and family stress
How It Works
You do not need a doctor’s referral to begin. Once you have your ICBC claim number, you may be pre-approved for 12 counselling sessions within the first 12 weeks following your accident. Additional sessions may be approved depending on your recovery needs.
We handle the direct billing to ICBC, so there are no upfront costs to you for approved sessions.
