Cheryne Chebib, RCC
Senior Counsellor
Cheryne Chebib is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with over 25 years of experience supporting children, youth, individuals, and families. With a background in Marriage and Family Therapy, her work is grounded in a systemic approach that recognizes the importance of relationships and connection in the healing process.
Cheryne believes that everyone experiences moments in life where they may feel disconnected from their inner wisdom. During these times, having a supportive, curious, and compassionate presence can help individuals reconnect with themselves and move toward meaningful change.
She is especially passionate about working with parents and families, supporting them in rediscovering joy, strengthening relationships, and building confidence in their roles. Cheryne also has extensive experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including those impacted by conflict, displacement, and challenging family or community experiences. She has worked for over 15 years with young children presenting with sexual behaviour concerns.
Having lived in eight different countries, Cheryne brings a culturally responsive and globally informed perspective to her work. This lived experience shapes her understanding of identity, belonging, and connection.
Her approach integrates evidence-based therapies with expressive arts and a sense of lightness, creating space for clients to explore their experiences in ways that feel both meaningful and accessible.
Cheryne supports clients in English and French, and can offer support in Arabic when needed.
